A new piece by Sergio Assad, in remembrance of Sandy Bolton.

"Sandy's Portrait" is the title of the piece.

The piece has three movements. The first movement is a prelude with an expansive warm melodie in the middle section. The second movement is a Passacaille based on Sandy's name. The last movement is a Toccata with a strong brasilian flavour, bright rhythms and also uses Sandy's theme as the main material. 

I love the piece and I think that Sergio has written a work that will surely become an important part of our repertoire.
