In 2016 we started the walk of the Thames Path. The signs for the trail are the black ones at the post in Hammersmith bridge.

The Path starts at the impressive Thames Barrier (photo on the right) in Greenwich, opened in 1984 to protect London from flooding and continues for 184 miles (296 kms) until the source of the river Thames. On the left with the Cutty Sark behind us.
