On the 4th of May we celebrated the 2nd edition of the Stars Charity Golf Championship in Jakobsberg Golf Course, a few Kilometres outside Koblenz in Germany.

The atmosphere couldn't have been better. We had one of the first sunny warm days of the year and, after a long winter, everybody was ready for it.

The course is beautiful and overlooks this wonderful castle.

 

We had guitarists from different parts of the world, who joined the golf championship, maybe not because it was another golf competition, but with an ulterior motive. In this case, the money went to making wells in Africa and this idea inspired the event.

Georg Schmitz was the driving force and we want to publicly express our gratitude to his continuos support of our NGO. He has been with us in every step of the way from the very beginning and he is still full of enthusiasm. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Georg. Without your invaluable help, we wouldn't have been able to gather so many wonderful people in such an outstanding event.

The non golfers had the opportunity to receive their first golf class and at the end of it there was a Putting Competition.
